from the mind of critic: 3/2/20

From the mind of critic: “If we passionately, deliberately, and sustainably demand what polls show, the vast majority of American people want, have we prepared for not just unified establishment pushback, but for its gatekeeper tentacles, to infect those we least expect? Do we push harder, when the system we vow to rebuild, for the benefit of people first, gets increasingly nervous, and erratically overt with its actions? Do we realize this means we have a good shot at beating them, and the closer we get, the more kitchen sinks will be thrown? We the people must use this projected fear as strength, and keep our foot on the gas pedal. We’re growing, and they’re dying, and they know it. We just have to keep on, keeping on.”

From the mind of critic: “When we don’t vote our conscience, are we admitting complacency in our own ignorance? Has continually voting for the evil of two lessers, caused our faith in a new day to ebb so much, that when an authentic truth warrior does appear, all we see is destruction of societal norms, instead of the massive improvements we profess to want, but fail to promote, due to ingrained low self-esteem? The clarity to stand up, speak, and act with courageous vigilance when an opportunity arrives, might be perceived as a foreign concept, but really isn’t. We fog over what’s possible, with what we have given up hope on. Positive changes can be made, they are possible; but will only be written into law, when we not only consciously act, but consciously vote. Elections might magnify complacency, but are a golden opportunity to surprise ourselves; with not only what we can accomplish, but the world, when we stand up for what we want to see, instead of only, for what we don’t. November will test our current species humanity. If we fail to nominate, and then elect the people’s champion, we’re failing ourselves. We must not fail, we must succeed. This may be our last chance.”

From the mind of critic: “If we don’t stand up, when the system’s rot has eaten away the very humanity, it alleges to promote, will we ever? Do we sit oblivious to the steaming pile of destruction floating by, or do we understand its devolving nature, but feel powerless and apathetic to initiate any solutions? Do we believe viable truth seekers have been cut down so often, that any who continue the path, are bound to fail; not due to incompetence, or lack of passion, but lack of self-esteem amongst the masses, who don’t believe they are the power? Is our fear of destruction so great, that even when success appears in our sights, we convince ourselves to settle for the crumbs we’re thrown; instead of slowing down, listening, and really taking in our heart and soul’s desperate plea, to allow ourselves the clarity of positive forward motion? Standing up is hard, we must eject out of well-worn ruts. People might get mad. They might even spout ignorant epithets in our direction. This is when we must remember, that conscious evolution always has, and always will endure growing pains. This adversity is but a mere hurdle, a test of our characters authenticity; one which has just as much potential to heal ourselves, as it does the world around us. So, when we see the opportunity to subvert the dominant paradigm, by joining or starting a movement whose only goal, is loving unity through equally applied peace and justice, may we not perceive it’s end game as “illusory”, but ingest the beauty it’s authentically expressing, by standing up for what’s right. We may be pleasantly surprised.”

From the mind of critic: “If we feel like we’re searching for a needle, in an infinite field of haystacks, can we relax our mind long enough, that a clear picture emerges? Can we arrive at a point where things are so clear, that we fail to question? Can an arrogantly complacent confidence appear, when we’ve convinced ourselves we’ll see perfectly clear every time, negating the need for any effort? Can the fog build so thick, that the mutated ignorance we flaunt to the masses, is the exact result of picking the lesser of two evils for so long, we wouldn’t recognize truth if it slapped us in the face? The answer is yes, but rest assured, specifically because our society’s fog is so thick, we’re starting to feel the emptiness of no meaning. This may at first glance be scary, but upon second look, it leaves open the exact opportunity to make all the positive changes we’ve been yearning for, since before we can remember. They say the best thing to hide something is in plain sight, well maybe this infinite field of haystacks we’ve been bombarded with, is the real illusion. Maybe what we’ve been searching for, is right in front of us, anxious to not dictate us through this new day, but to help guide us through it. Are we going to open our eyes so we can truly see?”

from the mind of critic: 2/19/20

From the mind of critic: If messages aren’t relayed correctly, do falsehoods, misrepresentations, and ignorantly labeled, uneducated guesses, mutate not only our civilian life, but every square inch of our political system, meant to serve the people, while doing the exact opposite? Is the solution simply better messaging, maybe a better relay service? Seeking truth is both an inner, and outer battle that doesn’t have a destination, but is a continuous journey, of consciously positive forward motion. We can either fight against the roadblocks and obstacles meant to stop us, or we can sit idly by as things get worse and worse, specifically because we either believe all the false messages meant to dupe us, or we know and don’t care, or we know, but don’t believe enough in ourselves that we can change anything. Stand and act, or sit and complain, it’s that simple. Truth can only be found through us, because of us, but only when we aren’t scared to look in the mirror.”

from the mind of critic: 2/18/20

From the mind of critic: “If rose colored glasses shield us from the ugliness of the world, then does removing those glasses immediately inundate us? Does this ugliness we wish to escape, ever escape us? Do our perceptions guide the degree of darkness our rose-colored glasses are, just like they do with the degree of light we convince ourselves, isn’t there? Do we become scared of the things we don’t know, conjuring a survival mode, devoid of critical thinking? Do we realize critical thinking is the exact skill which defogs the picture in front of us, making known what’s out there, and what can or cant be done to fix it? Does this instill a self-confidence, that controlling our reactions, lets us know that not only will we break through our most hardened obstacles, but our situation might not have been as bad as originally thought? Not dealing with issues, is how they become ingrained. We feel like we’re not good enough, because observing others’ faux happiness, causes us to blame them for our ills. Left to fester, this darkness can quickly turn to hatred, which left to marinate, can cause us to act on that hatred. Even though this darkness we’ve indoctrinated ourselves to believe, is 100% our reality, it isn’t. We’ve put on rose-colored glasses as a coping mechanism, so we don’t have to deal with the world outside. Ignorance is ignorance, whether we choose to see the world as better or worse than it really is; we will continue to fight dead horse battles until we realize this. The only way to fight ignorance is truth, and the only way to find truth, our love of humanity. We will succeed in this, once we love ourselves enough, to know why this is vital; what could be more beautiful?”

from the mind of critic: 2/17/20

From the mind of critic: “If defining our purpose, is our purpose, then is mere effort enough, to secure satisfaction and fulfillment? Does a black and white statement of intention, guide which direction we take, so when the time comes to act, (and whose results we have no control over) we fall back on what we do have control over? Does this inner work cause major stress and heartache, because issues have ballooned due to us ignoring them? Does walking the walk seem like such a monumental task, because of others who feign generations of experience? Does walking the talk become much easier, when we don’t actually stand up, and fight for the things we drone about, anytime we feel like playing arm chair quarterback? So many things deserve our attention these days, it can be overwhelming to decipher not only what our top priority is, but figuring out what’s real, and what’s fake. Fear not, there is always improvement happening, there is always surprising beauty waiting to envelope our low self-esteem. If we slow down, and enjoy what nature has provided, instead of battling against what we feel we’re lacking, we’ll see a whole new world open up. This skill has always been within us. Inner strength is actually love, and is utilized to bring us to our full potential, when we stop searching for meaning and purpose, and simply let the process work. The results may not end up the way we want, or in the form we want, but will be authentic. Bettering our planet, country and political systems, starts by being truthful about the love that flows within us, specifically so it can flow out of us. This is the first step in walking the talk. Being the ripple isn’t easy, but the ensuing wave will prove beyond a shadow of a doubt, that we can get out of this mess. We have the power to overcome illusory control, when we pull back the curtain on ourselves.”

From the mind of critic: “If seeing clearly, involves letting preconceptions go the way of the do-do bird, how do we stay open, and motivated in an increasingly chaotic world, when everything known is called into question, with or without violent malice, specifically to test our characters stamina to step through a new day now, not when we reach, an impossible to reach horizon? We love each other as ourselves, by regarding hate as nothing but a symptom, of not feeling loving inside ourselves. Our enlightenment journey truly begins, when we realize that to truly see, we can’t look away.”

from the mind of critic: 2/14/20

From the mind of critic: “If hindsight is 20-20, is front sight, 20-10? Must we achieve 20-20 before 20-10, because we can’t utilize a skill, unless we know where it came from? Do we look forward as an escape from looking back, convincing ourselves, that if we ignore what came before, it never really happened? Does this cause us to act on what we want to see, instead of what’s actually there? Do we look back as an escape from looking forward, because not only are we afraid of a changing society flipping our world upside down, but we’re enveloped by a fear, that things will never be as good as they used to be, no matter how much success we achieve, or obstacles we overcome? Or do we have these 20-20 skills, and realize it has led us to 20-10 forward vision, specifically because we learned the lessons of the past? Do we feel less confident about successfully completing our next steps, than we need to be, in order to wrap our soul in the warm glow of authentic satisfaction? We are now 20 years into the millennium, and relatively close to where we started from. Yes, we’ve definitely progressed in a positive direction as a species, shirking some of the more violent, racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, and inhuman acts we used to commit upon one another, simply because we acted put of projected fear, instead of inner love. Do we still have a long way to go, of course we do; but that doesn’t mean we have to continually act out of imbedded hatred, whose origin we don’t know. We must continuously learn the lessons of the past, by applying them to a constantly evolving, and mutating sense, of what the world really is. So on this valentines day, may 20-20 hindsight never cease to inform us, of the hills we must climb; while reminding us of hoe beautiful 20-10 front sight can be, when we take off our rose colored glasses of self-doubt, and unleash the awesome power of seeing, not only how the world really is, but how much better it can be, when we love each other, because we love ourselves, specifically due to allowing our soul to not only breathe, but thrive.”

From the mind of critic: “If we desire material superiority, do we ignore humanity? If we see certain things as more important than relationships, do we negate the wonderfully scary, but beautiful journey we’re on, in place of a fictional endpoint, that blue prints to the letter, what we should be, think and feel? Do we believe being inundated with inanimate objects, and having wealth and power that allows control over whatever comes to mind, will leave us happy, by eliminating desire? Aiming our passion at acquiring stuff, will always leave us wanting more. It doesn’t eliminate desire, it increases anxiety, that unless we acquire more and more, we feel empty. This emptiness leads to jealousy, which leads to hatred, which leads to violence against those seen as less than, specifically because we feel less than. This concept of projection feeds into the narrative, that the instigator of all our problems, is the “other”. Politicians are very fond of projection, not only to take the spotlight off their own lack of humanity, but to further their task of gaining control. We don’t gain these traits from office holders, as an original idea we never thought of, they gain it from us. We’ve been tearing each other down for generations, specifically because we’ve convinced ourselves we’re blameless, even though deep down we know we’re not. The sooner we take responsibility for our own actions, the sooner we’ll stop electing those who don’t. Desire itself isn’t bad, unless we fail to analyze why.”
