From The Mind Of Critic-10/6/16

From the mind of critic: “If things seem like they haven’t worked out in a long time or ever, despite all the effort, wanting and positive thought put in, is there a way to stop self-sabotage from taking over our critical thinking skills, and stop making us think things will never work out? Will we decide that negativity always feels bad, but since we’ve come to expect it to happen and rarely get let down, in some small way it actually makes us feel comfortable? Or will we realize that negativity always moves us backwards, and although positivity is hard work, especially if we’re not used to it, it does move us forward, which will help things eventually work out? Sometimes when we want something so badly, it oozes out of our pores, scaring off potential people that will help us get what we want. Whether it be success in our chosen career, or finding love, how do we stop looking for something that we really want? If what we want shows up when we stop looking for it, how on earth do we stop looking for somehting we truly want? Is it just something some people say that have already found some form of what we’re looking for? If I really want a love that will make my soul sing, a love that will make me feel high just being arund her, and somebody tells me I can only find it if I stop looking, how exactly does that work? Has that person who gave that advice even thought about how that would play out in real life? I might be lonely and looking for that special love like a lot of us might be. Will we ever find it, who knows? All I know is if things haven’t worked out to this point, if we ever want things to work out in the future, we must leave ourselves open to the possibility that they will” 🙂
