from the mind of critic-12/16/17

From the mind of critic: “If great power comes with great responsibility, does knowledge? Does learning how and why things happen, require positive action? Is knowledge viewed as power, or just something poor people say to make themselves feel better? Whether we’re scared, not scared or oblivious to the world around us, it’s still happening. Just because we turn a blind eye to misery and suffering, doesn’t put an end to it. Journey said “the wheel in the sky keeps turning, and we don’t know where we’ll be tomorrow.” However, if we pay attention, we’ll recieve a rough outline of where we’re going, gauging our choices accordingly. These choices, are our power. Once we realize that whether we view strength as power or knowledge, it skews our choices, we’ll begin to see the collective good and self-aggrandizement, as the positive negative balance which keeps that big wheel in the sky turning. Our definition of power, determines whether we tear society down or build it up.” 🙂
