from the mind of critic-4/10/18

From the mind of critic: “If we can’t change everything that happens only our reactions, is being willing to go where the wind takes us how we succeed? Is adjusting to shifting sands, how we destroy preconceptions? Do we float along in the wind, because we don’t have any control over where we’d end up, only how we can make the best of things when we land? Do we float in the wind because surprises bombard us on a daily basis, and how we react determines whether we simply make the best of something, or realize success is in the eye of the beholder, which randomly changes? Critical thinking is the most important tool in our tool kit, to help when our mind plays tricks on us. Honestly percieving what’s in front of us, determines whether we take positive or negative steps. Once we realize that going whichever way the wind blows means adaptation not absent-mindedness depending on our perception, we’ll see that believing in ourselves will lead to success, and understanding success can change forms mid-stream will get us there. We’re never lost, we just might not be where we thought we’d end up. Unexpected detours can wreak havoc, but only if our priorities are unknown. To know what we can and cannot change, requires a willingness to go whichever way the wind blows. Success will find us if we keep looking. Success can change our perceptions, and vice versa.” 🙂
