from the mind of critic-4/19/18

From the mind of critic: “If we’ve ever seen the rain coming down on sunny days, have we ever seen the sun shining on rainy days? Do slivers of light always poke through the downpour, or only when we’re wearing a raincoat? Does light always bounce off the rain creating a rainbow, or do we only see it if we’re standing at the right angle? Whether it’s always darkest before the dawn, every cloud has a silver lining, or we’re the people we’ve been looking for, it describes the same concept. Our perceptions guide our thinking, which define whether we see all dark or flecks of light. There’s alot of darkness these days, just like there has always been. There is also a lot of light around, like there has always been. The tricky part is the more light or dark we choose to see, the more that appears. This gives us the false impression there’s more or less, when really the amounts fluctuate constantly. We must remember we control the amount of rain on sunny days, by choosing to be flooded out with darkness, or filled up with light. Rain will always fall on sunny days, unless we allow ourselves to be guided by inner warmth. A concept’s label, is never as imporatnt as its contents. Always expecting the worst, is like wearing a raincoat in 90 degree weather. Things aren’t always as they seem, we evolve when we realize neither are we.” 🙂
