from the mind of critic-4/24/18

From the mind of critic: “There are 2 paths we can go on, but in the long run, is there still time to change the road we’re on? Do we have the capacity to change course, when our current trajectory has been chiseled in for decades? Will we forgo the scarier but more fulfilling path, in place of a more comfortable but detrimental one? Are we so scared of change, that we’ve witnessed the darkness getting darker, but we go along because it’s the enemy we know? Are we scared of change and even though we know it’ll flip everything around, we adapt because we know change can be beneficial in the long run if we’re unafraid? Fear can stop us in our tracks, halting all forward progress. The idea we can’t change course midstream, is an assumption on fear of differences, and of required effort we may or may not be willing to exude. We get over this by remembering we deserve the best. It may take monumental effort, and may dispell all our misconceptions, but we can make change work for us by utilizing passion, through humanistic real world appilcations, not pie in the sky thinking. There are infinite paths to travel, and we can travel any at anytime. Our course might be chiseled, but we hold the hammer. Comfort is only detrimental, if it isn’t fulfilling. Change is scary, but so is having regrets.” 🙂
