from the mind of critic-7/26/18

From the mind of critic: “In any business, if the front of the house gives the customer their first impression, but the back of the house takes care of the nuts and bolts so that first impression is credible, who is a more valuable member of the team? Does the front bring in the customers, because that’s what the public sees, regardless of what’s happening in the back? Does the back bring in customers, because they take care of what the public doesn’t see, regardless of what’s happening in the front? Is it not the indvidual, but a well coordinated and cohesive team who brings in the customers, because if everybody isn’t supporting everybody else, customers won’t return, regardless of how spectacular any individual acts? There’s no I in team isn’t a metaphor, it’s black and white truth. While individualism is so extremely important that we put it in the first ammendment to our consitution, one person can’t carry the team, no matter how much their ego convinces them they can. Everybody has a part to play, a purpose to fulfill, and a unique strength that makes the world a better place. Some of us haven’t found our thing yet and that’s fine, each of us in our own time. We must never think we can’t find it, whether the advice comes from within us, or somebody we randomly meet projecting their deficiencies. Whether a community, a business or a country, strength is in unity, not division. A teams’ strength, is only equal to it’s members confidence in each other. Our true purpose spells out how we build each other up, not tear each other down. The illusion of ego is destroyed, when the importance of unity is illuminated.” 🙂
