From the mind of critic: “If the government is drowning in a pool of debt, is it because many of us are drowning in a pool of debt? If many of us are drowning, is it because wealth is being concentrated in fewer and fewer hands, making it so the governmnet can only function if it pulls on more debt, because it takes in much less revenue? Or is it because we’re trying to make an honest living honestly,while trying to pursue our dreams and passions in what little spare time we have, which makes sour debt worse because we’re trying to make our soul shine, while so many others in our society aren’t? Whether it’s education loan debt, credit card debt or any other debt we’ve incurred just to get by, none of it is sustainable . We need to pull in more money to pay off our debt, but when we aren’t able to pull in any more money in a way that isn’t dishonest or illegal, our debt gets worse, just like the governments. However in the governments case, the reason it is in so much debt, is because many people are escaping their debt by either tax havens, lopholes or other immoral means. Our country has plenty of money, just fewer and fewer people have it. So how do we change our trajectory? Once we realize that honesty, passion and kindness are the only true measure of success, we’ll see that to change society, we must change ourselves. And to do that, we must believe that one perswon can change the world, by starting the tidal wave that will get everybody else to change. To end our indentured servitude, we must all be willing to accept the reason it happened, even if the answer isn’t something we weanna hear. To honestly change the world, we must honestly change ourselves” 🙂
